Beach Volleyball is quickly gaining popularity across Oklahoma. Here at OKC Sharks Beach Volleyball we want to provide all athletes the opportunity to learn about and to play beach volleyball. Our program is designed for athletes that want to unleash their own passion for the game and pursue a high level of competition. 

 

We aspire to create a supportive atmosphere and a positive experience that will allow our players to reach success at a high level. Our practice court will be lit giving us the flexibility to have practice times during the evening, twilight or night to avoid the heat. And our practice court is equipped with an extensive drainage system enabling our program to function with minimal weather cancellations.
 

2025 summer season

May 12 - June 26

The practice sessions will cover game theory, conditioning, and technique geared to the beach doubles game.  Tournaments normally run over the weekends, tournament entry fees are an additional cost. 

 

Practice times will be divided in to small groups, ages 10-14 & 15-18, to guarantee maximum skill training. Each group will have an early evening practice for heat conditioning and a later evening/night practice (if special requirements need to be made this can be adjusted). Groups will be assigned by age and after a final count is established.

• Two 2-hour evening practice sessions on Weeknights only (exact schedules forthcoming) 
  for 7 weeks 

• Each player receives a OKC Sharks seasonal t-shirt and uniform tank top.

 

Additional costs may include:

Players MUST have an AVPFirst membership.

• Individual ​player memberships to USAV, AAU or others.

• Tournament fees for both in-state and out-of-state tournaments

• Travel costs for players

 

In the last seven years, we have garnered over 170 national bids. We want to expand that this year with your participation.
